DAMPAK SOSIAL PENAMBANGAN EMAS TERHADAP MASYARAKAT DI BUKIT LALAH NAGARI TAMBANG KECAMATAN IV JURAI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

This recearch aims to determine the social conditions of the community before and after gold mining in Bukit Lalah Nagari Tambang, iv jurai district, south coast regency, West Sumatra province. The type of research used is qualitative research. The resuts of this research show that the sucial condition of the community in Bukit Lalah Nagari Tambang before the existence of the gold mine can be see from their work, namely as fermer farmers with sufficient indicom. After gold mining, the community experienced an extraordinary increase. This can be seen from the fulfillment of educational needs, vehicle facilities, health needs and edequate housing for the people in Bukit Lalah Nagari tambang..
