PENGELOLAAN WISATA AGRO KEBUN TEH SIRAH KENCONG DI KABUPATEN BLITAR

Sirah Kencong Agro Tourism is part of PTPN 1 Regional 5 Kebun Bantaran Afdeling Sirah Kencong with a nature-based tea plantation tourist destination in Blitar Regency. Despite its great potential, its management is still not optimal, thereby hampering an increase in visitor numbers and facility development. This study aims to analyze the management and obstacles faced in the development of Sirah Kencong Agro Tourism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design with a case study research type. Data were collected through triangulation of sources, namely in-depth interviews with the managers of Sirah Kencong Agro Tourism and the local community, direct observation, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis to identify management patterns and SWOT analysis to map the obstacles. The results of the study show that the management of Sirah Kencong Agro Tourism is carried out using a multi-party collaboration model involving PTPN 1 Regional 5 Kebun Bantaran Afdeling Sirah Kencong, the local community, and investors. However, its development is still hampered by internal weaknesses such as suboptimal promotion and external threats in the form of fierce competition and accessibility issues. The recommended strategies include improving service quality and promotion, as well as establishing collaboration with local governments to overcome accessibility constraints.
